Worked mostly in the development of the Back-End of a Web Application used for visualization of Rover’s data, implementing a REST API with Node.js and Express.js. Also collaborated in the Front-End using tools as Angular, and tested the API using Postman.
Research: Paratransit Operations

Applied study implementing Machine Learning models to predict reservations outcomes and class probabilities using data from the Metropolitan Bus Authority of Puerto Rico. Helped refactoring the code, adding more Object-Oriented design to make it more scalable and easier to use. Used modules as sklearn, numpy and matplotlib.

American Society for Engineering Education – Directive Assistant

Member of the Outreach and TISAM Committee. Participated in visits to schools, where we offered knowledge about the different branches of engineering to high school students. Impacted a huge group of high school students providing a review of mathematical concepts for the College Board exam and gave a workshop in the same school. Also had a role as leader of a station in the Engineering Fun Day.

Engineering Pearls Member
Engineering PEARLS complements students’ education with individualized career mentoring, soft-skills training, research opportunities, internship/COOP experiences, and peer-mentor activities; integrated in a learning community where students, faculty, and university staff work together for a common goal: student success.
Based on my expedient information and interview, I'm also being offered an Engineering PEARLS Scholarship for $3,000 per year.

Third Place in Inter-university Programming Competition
Teams composed of three students from different universities throughout Puerto Rico participated in this competition where they had the challenge of solving nine problems in three hours. My team won the third place out of 16 teams.
